Lol, "literally hundreds of posts"? I would say prove it but you actually might try, but be wrong.

Whatever Tim, end of conversation.

Hundreds... most runs of most models based entirely on what it showed for you. I could pull up 20 of them 5 minutes.

Not when we might get 20 inches in the next 36 hours. Starts to become a concern for many reasons.

The Portland area had some in January 2017.

Still very bummed I didn't see any that day. Fog was very thick that day, more than I've seen in a while. Anyways, I guess this is like a week of 1/10/17s for Puget Sound! Each storm looks just as impressive as that one was for us.

Looks like it might be getting close.  The sky is glowing not too far from here which usually means heavy snow is coming.

1.6 inches of snow in last 30 mins wtf.

Remarkable. This system is clearly far more juicy than modeled.

Snow has really picked up here in the last few minutes after picking up a half inch in the last two hours of light snow.

Hope you are right.

The latest GFS was very confident most of the precip will be snow for the major part of the event.  The numbers were better than the 12z.  Then of course the ECMWF shows us getting a lot.  Never doubt that model on stuff like that.

Let it go...

And let people enjoy what they want without a lecture from you. Mmmmkay!!

Lecture?   Jim and I are in the same situation with the system starting tomorrow afternoon and night.   And Jim said I had a "good point".    You don't need to comment at all.

Light to moderate and back to light wet snow at 34f with gusts from the south at 12mph.   But for the moment, It's cool.  Not often I see snow blowing from left to right.  Pretty uncommon.  Only have seen it a few times here on my property..
