Maybe I'm crazy, but this Euro at day 10 looks closer to delivering than any of the past few Euro runs.

 

Looking at the large-scale anomaly features across the NH.

12z GFS is not shabby by any means.

 

Multiple cool/cold troughs swinging through with fairly low snow levels and then ultimately leading to this.

Up to 41F.  The streak continues.  All of the previous Decembers that did not feature a sub-40F high ended up producing at least a couple of sub-40 highs in January so if we fail to get one, it will set a new record for futility.  It's already depressing enough when we are going to go a full December without one for the first time since 1958.

This is still not a full arctic blast solution, but pretty great pattern if it were to come close to verifying. I think there is potential a lot sooner (End of next week still could be decent.).

Hopefully next winter we can finally break this dryness we’ve been in since May 2017 and get a good ski season as well. The last two ski seasons were rather lacking in the snow department and this one looks headed down the same road.

I have a subscription to weathermodels.com and weather.us, so I should be able to get that same map.  Their website is not that easy to navigate, at least for me since my subscription is new.  So where exactly do you get this map?  Both have the 46 day forecats, but I couldn't find this particular map.

Just got done running my generator, and checking over my mower to make sure all is a go for pushing snow! Fuel topped off and tires aired to specs. Once we are a few days out from a good snow I will chain it up and put the plow on. Just need some weather now. Amazing how much you can get done at home when you don’t have to work for a few days. Next up, gutter cleaning!

It’s on weather models. Select eps 46 day, 5 day average 500mb, and choose Jan 18 and it should show up.

Do you have weights to add to your X300? It might be kinda tough keeping traction without them.

Do you have weights to add to your X300? It might be kinda tough keeping traction without them.

The last thing I still need to pick up. I held off buying the suitcase weights since I have a friend that thought he had some in his shop...But he hasn’t found them so I will be picking a couple up. I will be plowing downhill so hopefully it will do fine.
