Part I - January 2020 Weather Discussion for the PNW

Recommended Posts

It's funny to me how the firehose was pointed to Portland recently in the models while the maps showed a modest 3" for Seattle, however I didn't hear any crying up here in Wa.

Lol. You should have been on here during January 2017 and the two years following it.

18z Ensembles continue to mainly keep Sunday's low South of Seattle.

Like, 'good south' or 'way too south' south?

The NWS up here in Seattle is definitely spinning out right now! LOL

They just posted this, notice they have the day of the week wrong in multiple spots (it's Wednesday, not Thursday.)

Poor guys ... just take a deep breath, focus, and write a vague update like we are all expecting.

Headed to Hawaii in the morning, stocked the business with a couple snow shovels and enough deicer for a historic storm.

Big Island? I can't remember if that was you going there or someone else.

I did that last weekend! You’re late!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I heard a lot of crying last year when Seattle snow totals were reduced by a meager three inches. You must have some oddly selective hearing.

It's a trap, nobody reply.

...classic Jbolin....

To be serious, I want everyone to get some snow. GFS isn’t too eager for Portland, but still.

Dude....c'mon man.

I've refrained from saying anything about your broken record cause you're young, but that is the kettle calling itself black if I've ever heard one.
