Pretty uniform 1”-1.5” for the Willamette Valley. Let’s see how accurate it is for here. We will often get less than 50% of that here for some reason.

Would love to see us overperform.

It isn't *that* far fetched.  At this point I'd hoped you had figured out by now that I address even the remote odds. It's always nice to root for something, and if I'm right I look like a wizard.

You will only look like a wizard if you always predict the coldest winter since 1950.

Really beautiful last couple days. 73/41 on Thursday. Clear blue skies with the chilliest low of the season so far to start the day. 77/45 yesterday, mostly sunny with clouds moving in late. The high Cascade volcanoes had a dusting of snow from the system on Wednesday.

Overcast and a fairly mild 56 out this morning. Looking forward to the rain in the coming days.

My phone app is showing chances for sub-60 highs for middle of next week into the weekend. Can’t wait for it.

Interestingly... the ECMWF shows a decent amount of sun each afternoon during the upcoming week starting Monday afternoon but still only shows highs in the low 60s.    Pretty typical that Seattle sees sun in a active pattern with cold air aloft.   The low clouds never lock in except for maybe in wrap around behind the last ULL on Friday.

Plus a nice return to mild weather the first week of October. Back to the 70s and sunny which we can enjoy without worrying about smoke.
