But I’ve struggled to see things correctly this fall, so nothing would surprise me at this point. It's okay, Phil. Recently I learned weather forecasts grow more difficult the further out in time you are projecting. Did you know, forecasting beyond a week out for a given point is nearly a crapshoot, especially in the winter? From what I've read, the European Union has their own supercomputer running their own weather model. It's called the 'ECMWF', and according to some of the weather nerds I've talked to, it's supposed to be pretty good. 2 1 1 1 Quote Weather stats for MBY Snowfall: -Total snowfall since joining: 50.25" -2018-19: 21" -2019-20: 2.5" -2020-21: 13" -2021-22: 8.75" -2022-23: 5.75" -2023-24*: 0.25" -Most recent snowfall: 0.25”; January 17th, 2024 -Largest snowfall (single storm): 8.5"; February 12-13, 2021 -Largest snow depth: 14"; 1:30am February 12th, 2019 Temperatures: -Warmest: 109F; June 28th, 2021 -Coldest: 13F; December 27th, 2021 -Phreeze Count 2023-24:

No, but after they were barely able to open at all in 2014-15 they did some extensive brush cutting at Summit West, so they can usually get that open quickly. I bet it opens next weekend as long as they get at least a foot after this AR. The writing is on the wall for skiing in that area, maybe 20-25 years left before they give up. 1
