All models took a step in the right direction, frankly. Am I not seeing something?

Welp, no action on the GFS in the believable range. Maybe the long range will start to show some colder temps.

It is being overly generous with the cold as it is. Eugene will actually be getting 50-burgers.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Probably highway 18. I hate that road,  semi trucks should not be allowed until they repair the road and add lanes. One of the most dangerous roads in the state!!

I work there everyday on the Highway project. So f*cking dangerous. Saw a horrible accident there a couple days ago.

That is a huge hole there! I was just there last weekend.  What are they doing?

Its been dry here most of the day... even partly sunny at times and looks like Seattle has been totally dry with even more sun.   Models show that c-zone up north weakening and slipping south this evening.   Might get a little snow here when that happens.

18z was a step in a better direction, regionally. All we can really ask for from that model right now.

For you indeed it was.

Took a quick peak at the 18z, looked okay, I'd love for it to trend south though, that way it's snowy in salem when I'm there. Back to work I go.

Eventually it’s going to be 2 lanes in both directions all the way up and down tiger mountain. They’re going to entirely re-do the I-90/18 merger. They’re also knocking down and building a new bridge on raging river.

I haven’t brushed up on my geography for awhile, but cold air closer to me means cold air closer to you too.

Also you’ve got the GEM and Euro showing some solid stuff down your way.

Is this meant to be a joke?

No. Every other run to run change posted for this time frame whether a hot or cold change has the peaks of the state at a greater delta. Except this GFS map. That makes sense to me given that this is the time frame of the cold upper air floods in. What dynamics are causing the extreme diffusion at the lower level on this one particular run? The lower levels cool while the upper levels warm. This isn’t an inversion setup is it?

Yeah, I’ll be surprised if Euro doesn’t cave tonight. Bummer.

Nope, it has to be a day or two later to maximize the misery of the second rug pull.

Yo how many years does it take to do that?  They've been expanding that road since I was in college, which is over 20 years ago

I was 14 when I joined, 24 now. I was a super mega weenie and barely understood anything that was going on, but I thought this was the coolest website ever. It’s hard to imagine what someone under that age would be like on here lol

As many years as it has taken to get done what they’ve got done so far plus however long it takes to get done what they need to get done to finish it.

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.
