snow_wizard Posted March 1 Report Share Posted March 1 The moral of the story for the EPSL is low pressure west of us is toxic for snow in most cases. We need low pressure to track inland. When that happens we can get c-zones, backwash snows, Arctic fronts, etc. Those are the scenarios that really work out for us. A low to the west can work if we have very cold air in place of course. Might have briefly been wet slop falling and melting on contact (that has happened a few times for me in March, and has been the sum total of the March snow I have observed in the lowlands).
