jcmcgaffey
SEA is guaranteed to have a wetter than normal December now.Ya its been a pretty average month. We have had a pretty good fall winter so far in terms of cold and dry days so no complaints here other than the lack of snow so far. Just this week I have started feeling an itch for a little sunnier weather with more sun breaks in the clouds as it has felt a little too dark/cloudy lately which makes sense when thinking the time of year it is:). Brian_in_Leavenworth
Then that means it's due to be right. Of course when we refer to the Euro Weeklies, what we see is the ensemble mean. Sometimes someone posts them, sometimes we get the crayon interpretation by Brett Anderson. I found another crude interpretation from last nights run that mainly focuses on Canada, but does give some "clues". Temps for the 1st week of JanuaryPrecip for the 1st week of January 2nd week Temps (no precip map given). Notice the very warm temps in Alaska 3rd week of January BTW, the weeklies from 3 days ago showed colder temps for the 1st week of January for us, now showing warmer. These are always interesting, but they are clues and not great forecast. Source: https://weatherloverblog.wordpress.com/
