Front Ranger
I'm close to SeaTac and can report it is still DUMPING snow out. They'll be at 6" for the day in no time. DP there has actually dropped to 30 after peaking at 32 earlier. A forum for the end of the world.

jcmcgaffey
This is crazy. This is now hands down the most snow I have ever seen here in my 36yrs. It is dumping and plows can’t even clear the main roads we have at least 6-8” already today easily.

snowbustcity
In a brief break of the snow right now. Getting something that I havent seen since the Blizzard of '16 in Philly, bits of tiny ice pellets blowing about. Checking the snow on the railing, the liquid in that has dropped and the railing remains glazed over. Looking at some of the power lines, they look a little weighted. I guess the next band moving up is the one that was dropping at some pretty impressive rates. Still at 30º in Everett. The January 2016 blizzard in Philly? I was living right outside center city at the time in Grad Hospital. Amazing time. Recorded about 26 inches in my little yard. Snow drift completely buried my car. Like, couldn't see a single area of the car exposed. Great time.

jcmcgaffey
I drove one of my kids to the local ice cream shop and then to the store but had to call it short after the ice cream as the roads were getting so built up and I am normally pretty confident driving in snow. Was out clearing the side walk and a tree branch snapped right next to me.Stay safe everyone. Yes, and that's starting to create outages when branches break or bend across power lines. This afternoon I spent some time whacking ornamental small trees and shrubs with a broom handle. Some of the branches sprang up several feet after I relieved them of their snow load! TT-SEA
My son just got home from Snoqualmie Ridge. I told him he had to get home now or stay there with a friend for the night. Nothing seems to scare him in terms of driving in the snow... but we walked through the door he said that the drive home was easily the most scared he had ever been while driving. He said the wind was howling at Snoqualmie Ridge and there are deep drifts everywhere. And it was a whiteout on I-90 and he was doing 10 mph and could see anything and was not sure where the road was.. and it was the same coming up our hill. We don't have much wind here though. **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**
