Aww man, GFS really buckling to the EURO. That really sucks, could have thought the EURO would compromise for once.

The 510 thickness line almost srops to Seattle on the 0z GFS.  No movement toward the ECMWF at all.  Coldest run out of the last several.

Yeah, I feel like that was PDX's best chance at a widespread snowfall. Unless Tuesday could trend colder-- NAM and WRF were on their way to that.

Everywehere from Bellingham to Everett has north winds now.  Maybe a bit faster than the ECMWF runs have shown that.

Zone is clearly starting to slip South.

 

I'd expect Lynnwood, Shoreline, Kirkland, and North Seattle's snow chances to increase in the next hour or so.

Been lightly snowing in north Bellingham for about an hour. Maybe 1/2" on the lawns, etc. Temp down to 30˚F. Not much wind yet.

Not exactly, there are some decent returns building overhead and to the west, should be good for some accumulation. The temperature is down near freezing here now, should fall below freezing shortly.

We'll see, not sure if it's gonna live up to my 5-10 cm hopes.  I hope the west flow out of the Juan de Fuca meeting the increasingly northerly flow from the Haro will do us wonders.
