We’ve been taking some epic NIGHT WALKS during this quarantine and that looks to continue.

I slept outside on the porch the other night.

Sounds like a nice spot to sit and listen to the wind blow and the corn grow. :')

I love sleeping outside when I’m in Eastern Washington in the summer. Nothing beats it! Miss going to the little off the grid cabin that I would rent each summer that overlooks Banks Lake. Had two outdoor beds and two inside.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Midnight highs!

Was kinda sorta hoping PDX would be able to drop below 50 before 1am since they have a pretty good shot at staying in the 40s this afternoon. But there will be plenty of other opportunities for chilly days this week.

Midnight high of 49 here so far, 45 currently.

Wednesday is probably their best shot at a sub 50 high. Not easy to do at this point without some steady precip.

Of course April 1, 1936 had a 37 degree high with 5" of snow.

Hard to wrap my head around that one. What were the surface obs like on that day? East wind in place with overrunning precip?

The rain this morning has allowed my monthly total to blow past the 1” mark.

SEA is over 3 inches now.   Getting close to normal.

Yeah there was moderate offshore flow with steady snow bands rotating through. Very cold airmass, probably -9c to -10c at 850mb on the westside. Spokane was 24/18 on 3/31 with some snow and 30/14 on the 1st with partly sunny skies.
