I love sleeping outside when I’m in Eastern Washington in the summer. Nothing beats it! Miss going to the little off the grid cabin that I would rent each summer that overlooks Banks Lake. Had two outdoor beds and two inside.

Was kinda sorta hoping PDX would be able to drop below 50 before 1am since they have a pretty good shot at staying in the 40s this afternoon. But there will be plenty of other opportunities for chilly days this week.

 

Midnight high of 49 here so far, 45 currently.

Looks like some much needed rainfall for the southern Oregon coast the last 24-36 hours. Close to an inch in Brookings and over an inch in North Bend/Coos Bay. Rain still coming down.

Was kinda sorta hoping PDX would be able to drop below 50 before 1am since they have a pretty good shot at staying in the 40s this afternoon. But there will be plenty of other opportunities for chilly days this week.

Yeah there was moderate offshore flow with steady snow bands rotating through. Very cold airmass, probably -9c to -10c at 850mb on the westside. Spokane was 24/18 on 3/31 with some snow and 30/14 on the 1st with partly sunny skies.

Up to 0.62” today and 3.10” for the month. Looks like the next round is getting ready to move through the south sound.
