my God, this forum has devolved into the worst of the worst. It's always emotional and reactionary in here, but it seems that the rational and seasoned members have pulled back to make way for the kids.
I'm going to step back for the day too. It's just too much uninformed nonsense.
I am excited for a lot of you guys, because it seems like this is your first time tracking a PNW winter storm. I remember my first time.
I think the Willamette valley could have a climate comparable to the Sacramento Valley (albeit wetter) but as @Omegaraptor has suggested, the climate of the Puget lowlands will probably be closer to the inland bay area (more maritime). All just speculation of course.
Only one 80+ day so far for DEN this year, and that was a month ago. Been a pretty nice, variable spring.
Getting to the time of year when 90 becomes possible...hopefully we hold that off for a couple weeks longer.
100%, but I think this time we are going to fight back. We better be ready for the absolute hell the left will unleash from Election night on. My wife works in Portland and has already taken election night off. She doesn't want to be anywhere near the city in the event of a Trump win. She voted for Obama twice, sat out 2016 and 2020, but is now probably more pro-Trump than I am.
This is an idiot take. You clearly forget about the black lives matter supporters gunning down police officers in the streets of Dallas and Baton Rouge in the summer of 2016.
