It's over. It will just be 48/40 and rain the rest of winter. Maybe a few lows between 33-39 and some slop but that's it.

Bring on summer sunshine and 80s!

Or 90s depending on latitude.

Looks active and stormy. La Niña. Were you thinking we would see nothing but snow fall from the sky the next three months?

As long as there's a good chance of 50˚F rain in the forecasts, I will root for it. Might as well have some fun. What I root for is going to have exactly zero effect on what actually happens. (And I would like to see some lowland snow, too.)

It's called clown range for a reason.

This. ^^^  Seeing La Nina acting like a La Nina is exactly what you all should want.  Even the legendary winters did not have constant cold and snow for 3 months in Western WA and Western OR.

So does this morning qualify as the first forum meltdown of the winter? Jim isn’t here so might not be quite there yet.

A Jimeltdown coupled with a decent SSW event may be quite the combo moving forward.

That might be the biggest analog for a good winter. I don’t know if one good event that has happened before a meltdown.

I still the remember all the self-pity about 2018/2019 shaping up to be a no-snow winter in Seattle as January was winding down.

The CFS has showed literally nothing for weeks.

All the more reason to be bullish.

Can’t remember the last time that model didn’t predict the inverse of the actual outcome.

Bro wtf. That last sentence is the most depressing thing I’ve read in a month.
