Temp is 28 here DP is 24. Have a pretty decent amount of precip to work with tonight very similar to the late December NNW flow snow events that fared better than expected. This is the 6th year in a row we’ve had measurable snowfall in February…and also had snow on this date 1 year ago today. My winter grade is officially an A.

Think this band heading into Portland could give them some accumulating snow tonight. Not a major snow event but more widespread than what we saw earlier this week. A lot of places have gotten accumulating snow out of this.

I'm happy with this week's cold snap. Looks like going to get away with 2 mini snow events. The first one couple nights ago lasted about 45 mins for a little more than 0.25". This one is a bit longer  but a lot lighter with just flurries but still have a nice coating.

Measured a slightly generous 0.25” after the snow stopped. 28°F and clearing above. Snow stuck on all untreated surfaces, including pavement.

Taking a walk now before it melts. I will likely be one of the few in the city to properly enjoy it before it’s all gone by noon.

You were definitely the big winner once again.   Unbelievable!   No model showed anything close to 3 inches in the lowlands... or even the mountains.

We had about 1/2 an inch of powder overnight.    I just went out to check the roads and the snow actually blows off the road from the wind created behind my car... not our typical snow here.

Sky is clearing now as it gets bright to the east.

This bumps my season total close to 6” there were so many little snowfalls the last week of December it was hard to keep track biggest events were 1.5” with the anafront on 12/18-19 and 2” on 12/28

Same, closing in on 0.5" here now. Tiny bit more will get me to 6" on the season.

Actually, maybe more than a dusting. Not gonna measure, but it's at least a quarter inch. Woo!

This cold snap still wasn’t as great as 2011 or 2018 but pretty cool still. Had snow falling on 3 separate days and did finally accumulate this morning. Not quite as long lasting as 2018…as we likely will only notch 2 sub 40 days out of it but the low of 21 yesterday morning was very impressive. Definitely makes this winter an A here. We’re also -0.6 for February so looks good for 3 below normal months this winter.

-10F early this morning before the snow moved in with this little inside slider moving through. Will be nice to finally warm above zero today.

Currently -1F with light snow.
