My wife shops at that Fred Meyers but she’s never shot anyones tires. At least that I know of.

It was just super surprising…just casually pulled out a 9mm and shot the tires out and got in his car and just drove off 😂. Unfortunately the car was probably stolen so no real harm to the thief. Nobody even called the cops.

The ECMWF and GFS both come up with some sexy solutions during week two.  Patterns that would bring significant cold in the winter.

Can I just please have a couple days without rain?

I don't want to burn to death... or burn other people to death.    Just a couple days without rain.    I know... that is so evil.    Pure craziness to want something that happens 50% of the time here.  😀

Gents, I saw this and thought to myself some of those years had some mighty interesting winters.  Any correlation between cool/cold springs and the winters following?

I just looked at July 2008 again for SEA... what a lovely month.   Ended up -2.2 and a little drier than normal.   Only 3 days with measurable rain.    8 days over 80... and many days in the mid 70s.   And did I mention 28 days with no rain?   July 2008 sounds incredible right now.

1984 is second on the list and that July was even better.   No rain at the Snoqualmie Falls station until the last day of the month.    82 degrees out here on the 4th of July.

And of course 2011 comes in third on the list... and we start off July that year with 11 sunny days in a row with 80 degrees out here on the 4th of July.

I sense some really nice weather coming.

And to answer your actual question... all of those winters had fun stuff too.

Visited my mom in kittitas today. Was soo nice until about 2 when it started raining and windy. Usually when we visit this time of year it’s 95 and 40mph constant winds and just obnoxious to be outside. The horses had no shortage of forage and everything was nice and green (and upright). The only legit downside to this wetness and growth is having to worry about ticks for the first time in a while…I pulled one off my leg after my last twisp visit and realized it’s never really shorts weather over there if you have to be in the bush.

I swear I have never seen it not windy in Ellensburg... and we have stopped there so many times over the years.

What are the odds of the Fourth of July getting rained out this year?

Too early to say... could still happen even if we are in a really nice pattern overall with some bad timing.

1999 was wet and cold on the 4th of July... but we were headed to 90 degrees on back to back days at this point in June 1999 and that is not happening this year.    I think the general pattern timing is favorable for early July this year which is about all we can say right now.

Also took us 3.5 hours to get home. Too many cucks with trailers going over the pass every weekend. Also all the work they did on 90 over the pass may have improved road quality and durability throughout the winters but I think it’s absolutely made traffic worse.
