crf450ish
Weren’t you the one that moved east to have colder/snowier/non boring winters? That wasn't the main motivator, but was definitely a factor in choosing where we bought a house. Primarily, we wanted out of western wa. At that particular point in time it didn't matter where we lived. We landed where we are because it was a good investment. As far as wanting 4 real seasons, I'm not afraid to admit that we have learned there is most definitely a difference between visiting a place with winters like where we live (or where Kayla live in Bozeman) vs. living there. I'm seriously sick of dealing with snow removal/mitigation. Moreover, life is an adventure. It's rather boring to stay seated in one place for life. We're not waiting till retirement to travel. That's backwards. We want to experience things while we're Young and agile.
crf450ish
I'm ready for the summer as well but will try and squeeze as much wintry and stormy weather in the next month or so. There's actually a decent chance I move down to the Phoenix area in the next 5-10 years. Why wait 5-10 years?

MR.SNOWMIZER
Nearly everyone in the Seattle metro at or below freezing. A couple pockets of metro warmth at 33-34 but that’s about it. AFD will be telling, I still don’t think a single model has handled this wel at meso and when it comes to forecasting these kinds of situations, human hands are going to be a bit more accurate than a European robot. The old school boys at the Nws will be the best source of a forcast on this.
