On an unrelated note, I want to thank everyone for my first win in reputation points ever here on the forums!  I find it fitting and an honor to have won on April 1st. ;D  Lol! I have come in second and third many times, but never first. Thank you everyone.  Have a superb Sunday!

Absurdly cold high of just 43 this afternoon, which is actually colder than anything I recorded last April in terms of highs. Looks like PDX had a record Min/Max of 46 assuming they don’t get a 7pm sunbreak that bumps them to 50. Old record was 48 set in 2003.

Looks like the high of 46 today at SLE broke the record of 47 set in 1982.

Just came over the pass... it was beautiful up there with some sun and snow on the trees and the road was totally dry.   It looked like a white out up there when I checked before leaving Pullman 5 hours ago. Smooth sailing for us.  Are you waiting for tomorrow to go back?   Should be fine during the day no matter what it does tonight.

We're going back tomorrow but that was planned. When we lived in Stanwood, I had to drive once to then Safeco Field because Everett had a farmers market and Lynnwood TC had no parking. GPS routed me past Woodland Park Zoo and we made it to the parking lot an hour late. Traffic coming back that day was terrible  (1 hour to get to I-5 with street closures for a midweek game) so I swore I'd never ever drive to the ballpark.

We took light rail today from Angle Lake and SeaTac coming back. So much easier. But I didn't want to drive back or even halfway after dealing with game traffic or having to park there. Hoping to stop at a breakfast place in ellensburh for lunch and catch good weather over the pass.

Glad the weather cleared up on I-90. Pullman might get some snow tomorrow. Sad you're missing it?

We had a few light sprinkles at the ballpark but nothing steady. Thank God for terrace club and shelter from the cold wind. Kids area was a bit too cold with the breeze but not bad. Crazy M's for messing up a 1-2-3 double play in the tenth but that's for the sports thread.

Some nice cloud formations as I took the dog for a walk. Some very dark clouds to my west now that seem to be heading this way.

Crazy with how dark it already is outside IMBY that the sun doesn’t set for another half an hour.

And the fact I can’t see across the valley anymore means it’s probably about to start dumping hail here.

Looks like the worm is turning down south.

For like 1 week, then it’s back to the ULL party.

Looks like rain, maybe chunky in SeaTac but hard to tell and nothing hitting the ground.

I'm outside and saw a flash of lightning and heard thunder. My lightning detector shows it was 5.4 miles away.

Two lightning strikes. I thought I saw one earlier but a plane was going bye and I couldn't hear the thunder because of the noise the plane was making.

The April blessings continue! Just measured 1/4”! More snow than in January IMBY.

Pretty cool you had snow last month and this month. Have to get up at 4:30 for work tomorrow morning but there’s a chance we could get some snow here tonight as well. Might have a hard time sticking though. Currently 39 here with light precipitation starting moving in from the north.

Unable to load radars unless I go stand by my car outside 😜

I’ll keep you updated on the south sound fun tonight! Will probably atleast get some more snowflakes but getting accumulation will be hard unless it comes down heavy.
