17.6 degrees here currently, warmed up from the 15.1 it got down to a bit ago. There was no wind switch, the cloud cover didn't increase, I have no clue why it warmed up so quickly. Hopefully the temp ends up cooling back down because I was hoping for a single digit low temp. Good night.

I could really use a 70F day on my scheduled weekend. My SAD has been out of control lately (too much time spent kept up in my room drinking twenty monsters and livestreaming the 12z Euro with Snyder). So long as it snows while it's sunny and warm #blessings #bestofbothworlds #lifegoals

You must be a transplant.  Natives only want darkness and rain.  I never met someone from here who looks forward to spring and sun.   Impossible.

I don't really care about the Tim versus Jesse WAR, it's above my pay grade (zero). But the bare roadcams and warm nose 925mb temp maps and long range EPS ridging just to troll certain members and piss on others having fun in their nonsticking snow, intentionally or not, is lame as hell.

And yes I can tell the difference between you trolling and you genuinely appreciating impending warmth. You do plenty of the latter and I don't mind that, hell I agree half the time. But the tagged post is an obvious example of the former.

It was a little bit of trolling of course but also totally genuine and there are people here who agree with my take.    Particularly coming out of extended period of cold.

Let’s not play the I speak for the masses card. We’ve already got someone who specializes in that. There’s a pretty diverse set of opinions here, just like in real life.

This is your role now... not mine.  You are projecting.  You love to categorize people and tell us your opinions are the lofty ones.   Forced moral outrage on what types of weather people enjoy.  Must be exhausting.

The people I know and work with never sound like the gated community privileged folks some here interact with.

So weather preferences come down to socio-economics?    Literally no idea what you are talking about.

There is precip on the radar up north and clouds rolling into western WA.    ECMWF shows clouds this afternoon and tonight and then partly cloudy tomorrow.

Moving at a snails pace! Wonder if it will get to me? I was mad when I looked out and saw scud clouds and a temp at 30.9 degrees since when I went to bed last night it was 28. Hit 27.7 after midnight before the clouds apparently rolled in. But if I can get a dusting out of it I would be cool with it!
