Siskiyou Co isn’t Montana or Wyoming by any means but certainly beats out anywhere in the western OR and WA lowlands in winter. Pretty obviously at that considering it’s a mountain area and the I-5 corridor there gets fairly easy cold air drainage from the eastside through the Klamath River canyon and the fairly porous Cascades.
