I feel that I need turn the geni on every morning when the girls get ready for school and teaching. Never fails. When my kids were young (4 daughters), I flipped more breakers than I could count. Now many years later, it seems nothing has changed. Top of the West Hills, hills above Scappoose(that's a little further out), east county like Corbett, but there's not really a "snow zone" here unless you get out past Sandy towards Mt Hood on 26 above maybe 1,500ft. You might eke out an inch or two in the higher elevations locally and certainly east county but only when those east wind events set up. Most years have been wetter than normal since 2000. Its also much warmer than it used to be... and the warming has been pretty steady over the last 150 years. Some of that is likely regional UHI. I assume NYC and the surrounding area was much more rural and wooded back in the 1800s.
