Been a long time since Seattle has seen a temp and north wind like that during an afternoon! This was from January 1996.

Cloudy and 39 DP 31 here. Not looking too good for snow tomorrow morning down this way unless we somehow cool off a few degrees over the next few hours.

Temps are going in the opposite direction for some. It's up to 40, DP 30 at SEA after getting down to 39 last hour. This is thanks to the cloud moving in and the southerlies picking up at 8mph. Same for BFI, it's up to 39

But the models look really good 10 days out.

Latest HRRR is running out to 8 hours. Unfortunately, it's showing the Sound being stuck at 38 degrees 'til then.

HRRR has SEA stuck at 38-39F for most of the night through 7AM tomorrow. Doesn't seems like it'll be cold enough for snow. Gonna wait to see what the GFS and Euro says.

Tonight hasn’t really been the best opportunity for snow on the models for days now anyways. More looking forward to the nights coming up after this. I think Tuesday night/Wednesday morning is really our best shot.

I'm thinking next weekend is how this will shake out for anything meaningful to sea-level around Seattle

We will see. Some decent chances for snow this week too. Definitely had a feeling tonight wasn’t going to work out with the clouds moving in right at sunset. More opportunities coming.

Yeah, temps cooling to freezing before precip moves in doesn't necessarily mean anything.

But over here is working out perfectly.  Precipitation may be the biggest issue, need that southern energy to intensify.  Tuesday looks a lot better.

Lol you’ll do just fine this week. Must be nice to live in a place that still gets snow even in a sh*t winter.

I hope everyone gets snow besides CulverJosh.

His little conference forecast cost me big time. I ended up cancelling my grandmas funeral a week out because he convinced me the big storm was coming. Most of my family won’t answer my calls anymore. :(

You would be surprised.  Can be quite a donut hole.  Watching the clouds stop on the east slopes.

But better than Tacoma which isn't saying that much :).
