Title: "Is lowland snow in our future?"

Body: "lol idk ask el nino"

That "meteorologist" knows about as much about our climate as a rocket scientist knows about brain surgery.

She is a ditsy blowhard who is more concerned with her appearance than actual meteorology.

Ask her colleagues in Denver

Starting to snow here and 35 degrees dewpoint 24. North East wind has been going here all night.

I think we are getting "warm nosed" out here.

Dewpoint is down to 25 though with a strong east wind.

45 in North Bend and windy... 32 in Carnation and calm.

Wet bulb cooling working even here... temp has dropped to 39 with a dewpoint of 27 and there are snowflakes mixed in now despite waking up to 45 degrees.

The 06 GFS-FV3 goes absolutely nuts with the blocking in the long range.

Had some ice pellets to start mixed with the rain, now over to a 39* rain.

Main band is already moving north... precip is ending here but still some snowflakes falling.

Little late... Cougar Mountain yesterday got a couple inches of snow at nearly 1600 ft. Probably was more earlier in the morning.

Here we go.

The ECMWF hires is blowing up heights over the North Pole into Alaska. This is the first step towards the highly touted pattern change in January. Note the wavenumber 5/6 pattern around the Hemisphere now, composed of 5 (arguable there are 6) anomalous troughs.

39* Federal Way

Currently at my parents place in SE Portland with some nice gusty east winds blowing at times.

Had awesome celebration of life service yesterday for Dad and nice weather as well!

The most emotional part was at Willamette National Cemetery where he had the Three volley solute with Taps playing.

Navel personal handed over the flag to my Mom....such a powerful moment and emotions flowed. I so much wanted to thank the two gentlemen who who did the 13 folds of our Flag but they disappeared just as hero’s do.

My condolences again to you and your family. I'm glad you were able to celebrate his life and remember all the great times you had together.

I remember when my dad died, the taps and salute were very emotional.  The gal playing taps was at a bit of a distance, and that added to the affect.  My mom had already passed, so I got the flag.  That was an incredible honor for me.  They gave condolences "On behalf of a grateful nation".

We are all grateful for you fathers' service to our country.
