PSA:
The NWS always appreciates observations, especially detailed observations that everyone on here is capable of giving. That can be done thru Twitter, as they often set up a feed for that, or the mPing app. That can include final snowfall amounts, when the snow starts/stops, precip type, dew point, etc
This helps them with short term forecasts as well as future forecasts as they can learn from them. A few years ago they had a freezing rain advisory for Leavenworth, but I notified
Pretty rare to have ridging through June. You are young. 2015 was a rare exception that has no chance of repeating this year.
And I would probably prefer 65 and cloudy over 95 and sunny on most days. But 72 and sunny is vastly superior to both!
The 12z CMC is one way out, but it seems like that model likes to follow that exact progression every other run, no matter the weather pattern in place.
I think it gets watered down but the troughing will stop... As to be naturally expected. Be careful what you wish for though, you've been known to root for big ridges this time of year only for them to stick around for five more months.
Though I think by this point in the year you'd take 95 everyday over 65 and mostly cloudy. Which is probably more 'normal' than whatever preferences I have for our warm season. But you do you!
