Deweydog
Ok so this evening just got a bit worse for me, my dr. called and informed me of the results of my CT scan and it is cancer, according to my dr. it is treatable and won't involve any really invasive treatment/s. Needless to say I am taking it as best as possible atm, but hearing those words really changes your psyche in a way I never thought it would for me. My interactions and posts will be limited going forward. Here's hoping it dumps two feet of snow from Nanaimo to Eugene. See you weirdo's soon. Went through something similar last year about now. Very interesting how your brain processes things and it tells me that getting a truly horrifying diagnosis is not something I would choose to go through. Surgery got it, along with a couple small radiation implants. Lucky. Good thoughts coming your way from the soon to be Arctic Tundra of Clark County! 5 My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Temps in PDX on Monday drop from 39F at 10 AM to 25-26F by 1 PM. snow_wizard
The first week of January 2017 is pretty underrated IMO. I think a similar solution would be a little more than I am expecting from the upcoming pattern. One of the limiting factors with that event was a total lack of cold air on this side of the pole. SilverFallsAndrew
Would be incredible to get a real arctic front with a sharp temp gradient. Maybe have PDX be 28 at noon Monday while it is mid-40s at SLE. Then see 10-15 degree hourly temp drops down the valley with the front.... Happened a few times every winter in Oklahoma (Sometimes up to 20-30 degree temp drops in an hour or two.), and it never got old. 5 Snowfall Precip 2022-23: 95.0" 2022-23: 17.39" 2021-22: 52.6" 2021-22: 91.46" 2020-21: 12.0" 2020-21: 71.59" 2019-20: 23.5" 2019-20: 58.54" 2018-19: 63.5" 2018-19: 66.33" 2017-18: 30.3" 2017-18: 59.83" 2016-17: 49.2" 2016-17: 97.58" 2015-16: 11.75" 2015-16: 68.67" 2014-15: 3.5" 2013-14: 11.75" 2013-14: 62.30 2012-13: 16.75" 2012-13: 78.45 2011-12: 98.5" 2011-12: 92.67" It's always sunny at Winters Hill!
