D for me only since I got about an inch of sloppy wet snow the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

GFS is still very impressively cold north of Eugene thanks to the low level component with this. As it stands right now, it appears similar to January 2004 or a poor man's December 1968, neither of which got very cold in the Willamette Valley at 850mb. It doesn't always have to be a major upper level blast overhead to see something great.

I hope so. That would be great.

Next week’s big snowstorm was brought up at least three different times this morning in the meeting.

Did you get kicked out for incessantly bringing it up?

Per the 12Z ECMWF... once this band moves through there should not be much if any snow here at my house until maybe early Monday morning and that is just an an inch or two.

12Z ECMWF still shows temps in the mid 30s on Monday afternoon in the Seattle area... no flash freeze on Sunday evening down here.

You are going to do great from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.   Persistent c-zone up there and the air is colder.   I bet you might get 4-6 inches.

12Z ECMWF shows a little better push of cold air on Tuesday morning.

The persistent light snow it showed around Seattle at that time is gone on this run... I suspect it shows some clearing at that time.

I thin PDX could see some surprises on Monday with that low...we'll see.

Did you guys get a c-zone or something? Moisture was pretty sparse down here. We got an inch and then nothing after 930p.

Sort of I guess... two separate broad bands of precip slipping south through King County.    One yesterday evening and another this morning.

There is not much more than an inch here.   Its just coating everything so it looks more substantial and it has not warmed up yet today so its still clinging to every tree.
