As it stands right now, it appears similar to January 2004 or a poor man's December 1968, neither of which got very cold in the Willamette Valley at 850mb. It doesn't always have to be a major upper level blast overhead to see something great. I hope so. That would be great. The persistent light snow it showed around Seattle at that time is gone on this run... Sort of I guess... two separate broad bands of precip slipping south through King County. One yesterday evening and another this morning. There is not much more than an inch here.
