my God, this forum has devolved into the worst of the worst. It's always emotional and reactionary in here, but it seems that the rational and seasoned members have pulled back to make way for the kids.

I am excited for a lot of you guys, because it seems like this is your first time tracking a PNW winter storm. I remember my first time.
Might not please those who want 52-degree rain every single day or who think every warm day means it will be 90+ degrees until October.
For the record... the 12Z GEM is not a nice mix of weather. Its all cold and wet. Highs in the 50s on the majority of the days is not even close to normal in late May.
About four rounds of thunderstorms/downpours dumped 1.41" in my yard, the heaviest precip event of the year and easily the biggest rain event. We needed that.
A couple models yesterday were advertising a big rain event tonight through central Iowa, but they've moved it into northern Iowa.
