Snow has started here.  Nice that every bit of moisture will be sticking snow.

ECMWF shows very light snow going until early tomorrow morning in the south Sound.    It only shows about .25 to .50 in that area total but the loop shows it going for another 10 hours.

The circled is new cells in the last 10 minutes, hoping that type of activity expands west and then continue NW flow....

I think south sound gets in on the action later but right now are seriously getting shadowed by the olympics.  Need that front to sink past us a bit to the south and hope it wrings out the moisture in the atmosphere to give us a few flakes.  Happens often but each time is different.

Snowing a bit harder and starting to get noticeable on the ground.  The snow is a bit pellety which usually means it's going to get heavier.

Looking at velocity it looks like another convergence zone. Today turned out  a lot more complex than expected. Localized weather features sure are fun.

Is that how it works? Thought it just meant it was somewhat convective
