It would be cool if PDX or another location in Metro could pull off a sub 20 high during this next week.

Very good shot on Saturday I think.  This air mass is a beast.

Sounds like there was a rollover accident near where my spouse had hers, just west of Alpowa Summit. Can't imagine anyone driving even in town during that squall we had. Had another ambulance rush off that way. We always hold our breath when we see ambulance flashing going that way because we live on the east end of town and it's usually an accident in that area or on the other side of the crest.

Is that how it works? Thought it just meant it was somewhat convective

Yes.  The convective nature suggests it will get heavier.  This how Nov 2010 started out.  This won't get to that level of course.

This new snow band is having a hard time overcoming the dry air. I have radar returns over me and nothing is falling out of the sky.

Turn your street lights off and back on again to make sure they are working properly.

There can also be more of a delay with drier snow, as it can take a bit to actually hit the ground.

I hadn’t looked at the forum or anything since being stuck up there for awhile… I’m so happy to see the radar now that I’m home and finally checking on the weather stuff!

Based on the radar you would think my area should be getting pounded again but the snow is very light.   Not the same as it was during the arctic front c-zone.   Also... the snowflakes are being blown by a north wind which is very rare here.  We are almost always blocked from a north wind.   I think that speaks to the power of the cold air mass coming in.
