my God, this forum has devolved into the worst of the worst. It's always emotional and reactionary in here, but it seems that the rational and seasoned members have pulled back to make way for the kids.
I'm going to step back for the day too. It's just too much uninformed nonsense.
I am excited for a lot of you guys, because it seems like this is your first time tracking a PNW winter storm. I remember my first time.
Bonus points for wearing a life jacket! Looks like you guys found a secret swimming hole all to yourselves there. Is that on the Willamette River?
We went out swimming today at the Sandy River. It was the most people I’ve seen there in May. The water was still a little too cold and the current strong so didn’t spend much time swimming as usual.
Actually had some nice cool refreshing rain showers pass through here today in Southern Utah near Zion. Clouds seem to be clearing and rain showers fading. Don’t really expect to see any aurora overnight but maybe we will get lucky.
50 degrees currently, 52/36 and cloudy day in Talkeetna Alaska. 81/31 at my home station, super jealous to miss the start of boating season, today would've be an awesome day at Paulina lake.
