snow_wizard
Looks like the idea of a ridge over us during much of week 2 is really catching on now. Once that happens it's only a matter of getting a retrogression and we are in business. With a Nina any ridge right over us should be relatively short lived. 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies! Gradient Keeper
Maybe models in 3-4 days show the ridge scenario doesn't play out and the westerlies come roaring back. Ya never know. Hoping for a big ridge/cold pool and then retrogression. What will I be saying in 3-4 days though. That's the $32 question.

Gradient Keeper
I hope the Canadian ensembles are handling the pattern correctly. Big ridge, strong inversion, very strong Columbia Basin cold pool as Yakima doesn't even reach 32 for over a week. Block is primed for retrogression.
