You’re at, what, 1000’ elevation in the West Hills? I’m pretty sure you will.

Mhm, actually moved even higher just a few weeks ago. Was at around 700, now at about 900.

You are such a poor loser. Probably why you like Trump so much!

Hmmm... Two inaccurate statements in one sentence.

I am glad people are seeing some slushy light accumulations. As for me supposedly liking Trump. No need to even respond to such an infantile accusation.

Pretty impressive how wide-spread this snow has turned out to be for a very marginal event. The models were mostly wrong on showing huge total, but accumulating snow has been reported from just south of Comox to North Vancouver to Port Angles / Seattle / Tacoma.

Yeah that was weird that the euro insisted on 5 inch totals here right to the end.  I have a trace on grassy surfaces at home.  Fun bit of snow earlier and better than nothing!

I made a snowman with the extent of the snow I got! Maybe he’ll hang around until Christmas!

I went out for a drive though and it’s remarkable how much better a bit of elevation is. I’m at 80 ft and it’s been nothing but rain for a while now. One mile away and at 120 ft on the top of our hill, it’s dumping snow and sticking to the ground.

Scary little dude!  Lol

😂 Didn't want to smooth him out too much because every time I touched him he lost about a quarter of his mass.

I said an inch or more.  Has that happened?

Someone said something about 30s in Seattle and 50s in the Tri-Cities or Moses Lake at the same time... and that would never happen.

The models a day out were generally saying 4 to 5 inches for me, and I got about half that. I knew it was going to be wetter than a 10:1 ratio and the warm ground would melt some of it, so what I got basically makes sense. And was more than I was expecting earlier today, because the latest model runs really backed off on the totals.

Speaking of snow, one storm I would give a metaphorical arm and leg to see a repeat of was the absolute snow dump of January 8-10, 1980. Dumped feet of snow across NW Oregon, as much as 75 inches fell in just a few days near Hood River. Such a fascinating event!
