I just got my first look at the 12z GFS this morning. I don’t hate this run at all. Certainly not a torch.

Now on to the Euro.

I know it is nothing compared to the Felida area, but it is all I have.

Decently active pattern in the mid to long range. Some good mountain snows.

It got down to 31 in North Bend this morning... which was only the 5th freeze of the season so far.

I actually have vague memories of 1990 when the Yamhill River nearly froze over. We drove past the thermometer and the local station both said 12F. I remember also experiencing 12F in Dec 1998. And my last personal White Christmas, 2008 in Yamhill County. Glad I didn't live in the EUG area then.
