I was just having a hard time seeing what was so "amazing and possibly historic" about the run. But now that you explained it, I see your point. That said, I still wouldn't call it "amazing and possibly historic." Sure, there is potential but it just doesn't look that spectacular to me. We seem to get plenty of sunshine in the Summer but temps are noticably cooler than even Seattle most days. Even the really hot days are usually only in the mid-upper 80's and we cool off at night pretty well. And to be fair, I was gone almost that whole Summer in Hawaii and Europe, but I remember coming back and my roommates said they'd barely turned on the AC. This Summer it was on almost every day.
