Wow, no wonder they call this a roller coaster ride.  Was not expecting the Thursday system to go that far North. Kelso looks to be in the bullseye on this run.

You realize how far out this still is for tracking a low, right?

It should be interesting between now and Friday. It'll change 20 times.

Yeah...every run will probably be different...I’d like the lows to dip a bit further south than currently progged. More people would score...less snow up in western WA but would be colder. Hopefully this is the way it plays out but we will see! As it is...5 consecutive sub 30 days here in Tacoma if it verifies.

Tacoma WA elevation 300’

Monthly rainfall-3.56”

Warm season rainfall-11.14”

Max temp-88

GFS shows almost no snow... ECMWF shows historic snow.     Glad we have all this settled now!   Unbelievable for being within 6 days.

To illustrate the incredible potential and uncertainty inherent in this pattern, the Euro gives Portland 22 inches of snow through hour 180 and the GFS gives them . . . 0.1"

As long as I get a few inches here, especially with a vigorous/exciting arctic front, I'll be good here, especially if we get some subfreezing highs following it. February 2019 screwed NW Oregon, I do not mind if we get (partly!) shafted here, so long as we see something notable.

I’M IN THE PiNK!!!
So this is what MossMan feels like....WOW!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

If this verified do you think TWL would complain about his 4-6"?

This is insane. Feels like we went back in a time machine back to February 2019...but colder. Hopefully it works out for everyone this time.

00z Euro on pivotal is even crazier with putting snowstorms along the I5 corridor. PDX gets two feet on this run. Of course I'd like to see maybe 10 more runs before taking it with a grain of sodium. 🤪

Strangely only a few inches here.

I like the fact that the offshore flow stays intact— could it possibly be a December 1996 scenario?
