Glad that by pure luck I happened to be in Newport on 4/7/17. Funny story. We were there on a 3-day trip for outdoor school at the OMSI camp (Camp Grey) and I don’t think anyone was expecting the windstorm. When I woke up I had no idea why it was so loud outside and then we stepped out and were greeted by gusts in the lower 70s. Fun times.

It depends on the forum and who developed the forum. But usually it's as simple as going to your first post (the first post of the forum) and clicking the edit button. You will then see the option to "Add a poll" or something along those lines. Again, not all forums allow this. But if this forum does, you should see that option. Light dusting for me if it verifies. Last year we had about an inch of snow at least on the 8th of November. It was the most we had for two months. The first snow before that in October was just a dusting. I told my spouse to wake me up for the first snow we get and then only enough to cover the ground/grass after that.
