Possibly, but I'm not sure. We got close to -10 850s and I don't think we've been colder than that since Jan 2017. Feb 2018 is possible. It's pretty tough to get to -10 850s here in any scenario.

Almost exactly to the date of 2-25-19, which was an anafrontal setup where the deformation aspect of it stalled over us twice in a 72hr period and dropped 20" and the temp was like 34F the whole time with a DP of 30F.

Yeah -10c is relatively rare for anywhere west of the mountains maybe until you get up to Whatcom county or so

You had just about as much snow as I did this winter not bad glad it worked out for you!

We were bound to eventually break some streaks. The only one left is the lack of a sub-freezing high, and it's actually pretty fascinating to see how long that one will take to break since we will be getting close to 6 years on that one by next fall-winter, which is 2 years longer than the previous longest amount of time between them from Dec 1999-Jan 2004.

I would guess places near the border see -10C 850s on a near yearly basis. YVR has gone below -12C at least a dozen times in the past 20 years.

They recorded 0.02" of precip and there was definitely sticking snow there. So probably. They're pretty goofy though so who knows.

Hour 168 Euro has a nice little cold snow storm for my area. GFS has the storm up into Canada and Temps in the 50's here. Little model disagreement still.

Last night’s little event definitely overperformed up this way. Of all the models I noticed heading in to the event, only the WRF-GFS showed me getting anything, and that showed under an inch.
