Finally got kiddo home yesterday. 3 days of no sleep, or poor sleep on a hospital couch put me in a coma as soon as I got home.

Jaundice is no fun. Did I miss the rug pull?

Sorry to hear but glad you all are home now.

And yes. It’s over.

Investing in our weather future? When weather 401k?

GFUS 3X snow leveraged ETF managed by Cathie Woods. Innovative 240hr snow maps. It will totally be 5 degrees with 30 inches of snow in a few weeks, what could go wrong?

Our little young souls sure do put us through some interesting times.  I remember doing a escape to the coast with wife and baby as we were exhausted full time workers and broke. First night around 1 am our daughter began projectile vomiting 🤮 over the entire bed including us.  I remember just staring at my wife in shock with this crud (it was warm) everywhere and instead of crying or saying choice words we began that laughter you can only do when you go beyond the limit of your emotions 😂….Crazy stuff but you get through.

I think I counted that happening to me 4 times last week with my daughter. The best one was I was sitting across from her trying to get her to drink. She took a couple sips and then just started saying “dad, dad.” I asked her what was wrong and leaned forward, and it was too late! 🤮

I can't help but notice that the EPS has been fairly consistently trending upward in snow amounts...ecmwf-ensemble-KBFI-indiv_snow_24-9528800.thumb.png.bccf89582d1e1f5bd41bb5daae73672d.png

And GEFS is just somewhat comical.

Unfortunately this appears to be a more realistic solution. Could still produce some nice snow in places, and more potential headed into the later part of the week!1669852800-BknKmtjWMe8.png

These are the best times though.  All these memories will be very special when they grow up and move out. My son is 25 and he's still my baby boy.

Still looking like a good shot at some snow beginning Tuesday afternoon for many places. Still a 50% chance for greater than 1 inch if you take a blend of all models.  Probably will be a thing where it starts as a light mix and switches to snow with the heavy precip and we get some wet bulb going.

Models have been very consistent in showing heavy snow in this general area. This map shows over a foot here. Over here if we get the snow going it will not transition to rain before front passage and this is why it's showing so much for the canal. In this situation we are sheltered from sw flow because of Olympics so we get hammered.  But say where Tim is he gets slammed with sw flow so even though he is higher elevation he will probably get less or even no snow.

Precip rates are pretty high, I assume this is a case of the models banking on convergence and wet bulb cooling to hit those numbers?  That always has a high bust potential.  The past few years I recall both the Euro and GFS showing high snow amounts 48 hours out and getting just cold rain on at least one occasion.

Low bombs so far offshore now that its actually becoming more favorable with east wind rather than a south wind.
