You got hit hard by that snow in late December IIRC. Was a crazy event here too…was 58 degrees in the morning the crashed down to 34 and we had a trace of accumulation. That was the only excitement that winter outside of the big February event.

It was a pretty great event, 4.5" is a good amount and the layers of sleet/ice/snow was really interesting. Aside from the first wave of snow I don't think we stayed a singular precip type for long. I think we had 2 or 3 days below freezing as well and got down to the low 20s. Very windy too.

I'll go first. 1. 2016-17 2. 2008-09 3. 2018-19 4. 2010-11 5. 2006-07 6. 2003-04 7. 2013-14 8. 2021-22 9. 2011-12 10. 2017-18 11. 2007-08 12. 2019-20 13. 2009-2010 14. 2020-21 15. 2005-06 16. 2012-13 17. 2015-16 18. 2014-15 19. 2004-05 20. 2002-03 I think my top two is fairly controversial, but if we are looking at the entire PNW, I think 16-17 was the more complete winter. I expect most people will disagree with that pick. I was surprised I ended up putting 18-19 in the top 3, but February 2019 cannot be ignored. 2010-11 came in a lot higher than I had expected, and I can see a strong argument for putting it lower. 2006-07 was a more complete winter than 03-04, and 13-14 was more Oregon based, so I ended up giving 06-07' the edge. Once you get outside the top 3 there isn't a ton of separation until you get down to the bottome 5. I'd switch #11 and #14, and top 2 are definitely debatable, but otherwise solid work sir. EDIT: 2007-08 obviously ranks much higher if you're looking at the eastside and foothills, but I'm assuming this is for where the vast majority of people live. 1 1 Quote A forum for the end of the world. I'd put 2009/2010 higher than 2019/2020 as well. 2009 had a pretty great Arctic airmass even though it was dry and the fourth coldest December on record at PDX

Excellent, so no whining if everyone from Mossman north scores big in February, and everyone to the south gets skunked. Because it didn’t matter anyhow, too long of a wait.
