FroYoBro
I want to prepare everyone for the insane 18z that is about to unfold. I know the first reaction will be to freak out and that will be completely warranted. About 50% of us will become violently ill as we witness one of the most intense model runs of our lives. Stay tough and we will all be stronger people afterwards. 1 3 2 1

November was "winter cancel", and then when the models started showing the cold and snowy solutions for December, every once in a while the models would back off and show something different. People were being talked off the ledge. And also the time, and I forget what year it was, the models were insisting on not just snow, but an historically cold arctic front. Models switched about a day or two in advance. And then the let down of January 2011. Models advertised one of the biggest snow events in decades, except about a day or so in advance the models finally realized that the storm would go too far North and drag in warm air. And probably a good thing the forum did not exist in 1983. Major snowstorm predicted for Christmas Eve evening and overnight to Christmas morning. Winter Storm Warnings were issued, we were all supposed to wake up Christmas morning to 6-8 inches of new snow. Biggest let down of my life, except for Super Bowl 49. In face, this was the weather equivalent of the interception at the one yard line. Late at night, Christmas Eve, I heard rain. Just like 2011, the storm tracked north and dragged in warm air.
