We lost power for a week and my wood supply ran out for keeping one room warm. Found some wood available but and hour out of town. Gas stations locally were all shut down. It was a nail biter getting to my destination and hoping a station would be open so I could get back home. So good thing to fill up just in case. Ya never know what scenario is going to play out. Then add to that a massive earthquake which could happen on a 75 degree sunny day, or when there is 2 feet of snow and 10 degrees and no power...Better to be prepared!! I am trying to remember the model evolution with the second big snowstorm in February 2019 that pounded Eugene. I remember being convinced it was going to end up right over Seattle and the suppressed model solutions won the day. And I think it was the ECMWF that was too far north initially. 1 **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**
