Close but I have to go with December 2008…Only because we basically had major snow events up here every other day for two weeks straight, I don’t believe we went above freezing at all, and I had a low of -3. What I did love about February (into March) 2019 was that I had snow on the ground for nearly 7 weeks straight! 7 Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. Gas is around $2 CAD / litre which if I do my math right works out to $5.67 USD / gallon. More expensive, but not $7/gallon expensive. A big part of the reason why so many Canadians shop in Bellingham is simply the selection. A lot of US brands and chains are missing in Canada. The Bellingham Trader Joe's has the best sales per square foot of any Trader Joe's store, because there are no TJ's in Canada. I heard the Bellingham Costco sold the most milk than any other in the country because of the Canadians crossing the border for our sweet sweet cheap subsidized milk. We had 4" of snow in 2019 which is still pretty good. Looks like around 25" of snow in 2008 though but I didn't live here.
