In general the moisture seems to be riding a bit north of model expectation so far.

If we do end up essentially building a snow pack east of the cascades that will also be a lot like 2016-17, and help keep the low levels cool if a ridge eventually moves in overhead.

The snow pack In northern eastern Washington is incredible right now. I parked my dozer at the top of our property so I will have to snow shoe in next weekend to get her fired up and clear the road for our Christmas break. There is double the amount there for early December compared to normal.

Pretty bold prediction from Mark there for sleddable snow. Been snowing here for over 2 hours and basically no stickage to any surfaces. Dynamics are gonna have to improve this afternoon (that's what NAM/GRAF show)

Yeah that was pretty bullish for an old soul that hates all things fun and cold and snowy and sparkly with the passion of a large mass of Cliffs.

I’m definitely feeling 2016-2017 too. The first half of December is looking to finish very chilly too!

Actually a shot now for some places to finish 2022 with below average temp anomaly, despite the lengthy blowtorch July - October.

That was and impressive echo but really didn’t do much under it. Back at home now with dusting of white. Quarter size flakes falling and 35*

Close to the same here so far. The heaviest stuff is over us right now still. It’s very soupy snow though here similar to the snow that fell Friday night into Saturday morning.

I'm looking for some now to purchase.  I normally leave the dozer at the bottom of the driveway but I left it up top because I honestly wasn't expecting this much snow the last few weeks. Normally I can just drive to it but there is to much snow now. The property has a 500ft elevation gain and a 3/4 mile driveway so it's a good hike up. It will be fun plowing 3 feet of snow.

Yeah it looks really borderline. Radar development is looking encouraging though. Seems inline with what the 3km NAM was showing.

Still a very wet mix here. Might be a little too close to the water for it to work out today.

After my walk down at Redondo which was wintery mix with rain I arrived back home to sticking snow and white streets.  Huge difference between the two location.  Redondo is a 4 minute drive from my place.

Mines at least sticking compared to the last storm which were just dead wet flakes. .  Big flakes still falling here….lots O them 😊. Not the perfect snow but I’ll take even the bread crumbs that fall from the table 😱

I think I've got about 1/2" now.

Looks spectacular in the swamp of Puyallup!    Rare is the day when both Randy and I are getting owned by the swamp.   😀

I think this might be the main precip up here.    The ECMWF shows the next surge later today focused a little further south.

Still a good chance models are too far south with the northern edge, but who knows.

It’s absolutely dumping here now and streets are turning white.
