Perhaps the arctic front reaching Hope, CA now! This station's anemometer is probably sheltered like mine. Don't believe the wind direction or speed.

There is continental air filtering into Hope now. SE wind there is outflow from the Canyon.  There is no defined arctic front in the Canyon. Just progressively colder as you go north. -4 at hells gate. -6 Lytton. -8 Cache Creek.

East coast weenies: "The vorticity advection of the quandrified plestigisuth, along with this elevated ridge flux LLJ, and in conjunction to last week's stratospheric ballpit hot dog contest will drive cold Arctic air into my backyard and satisfy my very real girlfriend. And it better come quick...it's already been four days since my last crippling snowstorm!"

PNW weenies: "lol this energy meets this energy to...idfk what i'm talking about, hope we get our first trace of slush in three years so i don't jump off a bridge."

Looks like the NFL Network commentators are stuck in "Andrew Effect Snow".  Snow that is very wet and about 52 degrees.  Oh, and the sky is falling at the same time, lol.

I made a little magic tonight so my Bills could get it done.

Nah, I think that model is garbage.

Oh I totally agree. It does usually always have *something* there resembling a CZ. It also sometimes extremely overdoes a CZ. So just interesting to see no signal for one in the central sound. With the setup we have I’m sure we will see one though.

I have a nasty feeling the EURO will do a 180. Just seems fitting with the raw sadism of this event 😤

Good point, a lot of the time it shows one that doesn't happen.
