Just woke up with just some dusting on cars. Some light snow at the moment so I'm hoping for more in the next couple of hours.

Didn't really get anymore snow than what I had with the picture I posted last night.  Still fun though.  31 and frozen now.

Was a bust here in Oregon City. The Snowdome did it’s thing again.

Watching the radar loop from overnight... the ECMWF nailed the northern extent.

This was a 2 a.m. with the precip shield barely clipping Olympia and then it began shifting south at this point.

This winter has been borning not only on the lack of snow but the lack of wind events which is unusal for La ninas as it one thing we do well in with La ninas are big wind events.

Gfs was spot on here. It was consistent with 0-trace. Nam was pretty good too. Others were well overdone.  Got a “heavy” trace, didn’t stick to roads at all.

Half inch overnight bringing our seasonal total up to 1"! It was snowing heavily at around 3, sticking to everything but it seems like most of that melted.

The one area that has been
stubbornly missing out on accumulating snow has been the Portland
metro area, which the heavier showers have been tending to miss. With
temperatures in the mid 30s, accumulating snow has been heavily
reliant on precipitation rates, which have generally been too light
in the PDX metro to bring snow levels down to the valley floor.
Elsewhere, it has been a different story, with widespread
accumulations south of Woodburn and north of Vancouver, even in the
lowlands.

My neighbor says we got about 1/4” at home roughly. Not bad! Should be a fun drive south later this morning…going to be home around noon probably.

Downtown Salem didn’t get much. I know Keizer got a dusting, south Salem had maybe an inch in spots. Not sure how West Salem did. 
 

Albany/Corvallis appear to have done fairly well.

Got down to 29 for freeze #27 this season.

Got about an inch overnight. Currently 29.9 degrees. My walkway looks like it’s heated lol. And my deck snow pile is increasing in size!

Glad I didn’t miss anything too crazy. Would’ve been tough to miss out if there had been several inches of snow like places further north and east. Seems like we were just a little too far SW to get the best of this one…but maybe we make up for it in about 10 days.

He's got 100' of elevation on me. His location traditionally gets more snow than me, but anything can happen in the short term.

This winter has had the most wind storm damage since the great El Nino of 1982-1983 here in California. Very odd for a La Nina
