TT-SEA
Models were pretty adamant that western areas would hold onto air longer with easterly flow. I didn't want to say anything earlier, but it never looked real good for Jim's area...though he was closer to being in the right spot than people just a bit further south. He is getting warming from the SE through Enuwclaw right now. MV_snow
24 degrees here in Ravensdale (Kanaskat Palmer), 18-20 inches on ground, east wind crushing us and heavy snow. Truly incredibleMan. I’m just about 5-10 miles to your WNW and had it flip to rain about 90 minutes ago. Goes to show how close SnowWiz and I were to something great! Front Ranger
SEA has probably picked up 3-4"+ of additional accumulation today. It's a very wet, heavy snow so it's not reflected in the additional 2" added to the snowpack...but they already had 2" new snow at 1 pm, and have had about .35" precip in the form of heavy snow since then. 1 A forum for the end of the world. bainbridgekid
Down to 29 now here in South Everett! It's clear the normal bias of scouring out cold air too quickly is occurring.
