Requiem
Getting some pretty major dumpage here in Everett the last 20-30 minutes from a popup shower. Looks like we picked up another half inch in that time to go along with the 1" from last night and 5.5" Sunday night. It's like a Winter Postcard out right now. Gosh, enjoy. Like a dream come true! olaydub
Perfect illustration of how this week has gone so far. That band has been sitting there for at least the past hour... 5 miles away from my house (mouse pointer). Five. Miles. This band has been sitting right over me and its really hitting hard. At least 1.5" in the last hour and a half. The Issaquah School District closing is now justified... Hope it widens another 5 miles south for you! jcmcgaffey
Pretty sure 2/24/19 and 4/7/19 proved it isn't always "trend north" or "trend south", it's "Screw Portland as hard as possible". I remember the big storm in 2017 down in Eugene originally started up in Seattle and then trended south but more than not they seem to trend north. Phil
WTH is a suspicious swing?Lol, I assume you don’t follow/play baseball? When you have pitches of varying speeds/spin rates coming at you, typically you hedge a bit (let the ball travel a bit, pull your hands back, and sacrifice some power for contact). Maybe de-emphasize your leg-kick if you have one. If you know what’s coming (or guess) you get your bat head out sooner, extend your arms, and if you use a leg kick you might emphasize that early on for torque when returning to the back leg, or you might alter your torso plane just before and during the swing. 1 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=

HighlandExperience
Yeah I was loving it here up until this week. Now I'm extremely regretting our decision to not move a little further north. That regret will really set in later tonight.Pretty much from issaquah to Covington down to Black Diamond is not that great for amazing snow. Sometimes the HWY 18 corridor can do good though. Once you cross the issaquah alps into snoqialmie ridge it improves greatly. There were many times it would be raining in Issaquah or Maple Valley and as soon as you cross over to the ridge it’s dumping snow. Pretty frustrating. Beautiful area of course!
