Sooner or later, you have to realize that either he alone can't do diddly squat or he is straight up lying to you. In agreement with your second point, it's apparent that the swamp will never be drained but he didn't really try, now did he? To frame Trump as some sort of anti-swamp hero, like Stormy was trying to do, is just completely false. He is now as much a part of the swamp as anybody else in that town.
Yeah if it started in 1950 we would be joining the rest of the country in the yellows and oranges most likely. Although the last decade has been quite favorable for snow in our region.
