Now for Portland the hope is the south shift on euro stops and it will.be perfect. Good news I can.now focus on work because I haven't been lol

It’ll probably still snow a bit Seattle south of Seattle even if the low ends up a bit more south of where it’s shown. Hard to be surprised though that the gfs caved lol

Not surprised. Gfs has been sticking to its guns lately. Whether that means it busts or not remains to be seen

Also be nice if the power stopped flickering... I am recording the new episode of Fargo   A show with lots of winter weather scenes.   But frustratingly inconsistent... beautiful new fallen snow in one scene and then 10 minutes later in show time its all melting and dirty... then 10 minutes later its fresh white again.   I find it distracting.    My wife says she doesn't even notice it.   @Deweydogwould you be distracted?   😀

This shiit drives me crazy

GFS shifted south but then still brings in another batch of moisture to the north.   Much less precip overall though.

Canadian looks like snow gets into the south sound too. Definitely not over for Seattle snow chances at all.

The GFS is a nice compromise. I hope it verifies. Through hour 90 I have nothing to complain about. We lost the insane snow totals in my area but would still have a nice event if it verifies and allows places like Salem to score.

I'm thankful that ZR has become very unlikely for Seattle now.

Helluva air mass. What'd you hit last December again? I think you said Bozeman was near all time record?

Despite the jump South, the 00z GFS still gives Seattle a nice snowstorm Saturday morning with that second wave. Really complex situation with multiple low pressure systems needing to be tracked along the baraclinic boundary.

Other models have been toying with the idea of the second wave.  It is so cold when this falls too.  Wow!

Loop of the GFS... is the second wave that gets Seattle but the deck is cleared out after that wave.   Also sure the snow totals are way overstated per normal with the GFS.    But a really nice snow event with cold air if it verifies.
