Had some snow here this morning. Woke up and had snow on the car. Now just heard some thunder ️ in the distance. Last time I had thunder and snow was back in January 2017.

Some pretty heavy wet snow here at the moment. Big flakes. Temp is down to 35. It’s too bad this band isn’t moving through at night, could have picked up a quick 1/2” or so.

Snowing here as well. Temp dropped from 42 quickly

Easy to tell where I am, I'm right at the pass between some mountains to my SE and mountains to my NW.  My location is affected by terrain bleed, but because they usually underestimate the precip totals around here, what is shown is usually close to correct.  Hopefully that makes sense.

Lot of mixed precip over the last 30 min at work in Hillsboro. Mostly rain with snow mixed in, few times mostly snow. Back to just rain. Hoping this bodes well for later this week to pick up a dusting on the grass.

I’ve never actually been to that range. Reminds me of when we used to go shooting up there by the Livingston cutoff, something that would probably land you in the hoosegow nowadays.

I used to go shooting at the gravel pit up beyond the 4-corners with WaferTech friends 10-15 years ago.

Nice the NBM model which is usually pretty conservative is showing 55" for my area. I hope everything holds together for another 2 days of model runs.
