If you just looked at the euro your expectations would have been set fairly low. That’s not slop over though. The mesoscale models were just being inaccurate. I think the mainland may get some tonight still. apparently the pro Mets were fooled too. I'm not buying the unamplified look of the EPS with a major MJO wave in progress in the 10 to 15 day period. It will be interesting to see how it plays out though. I'm west of HIO, 35.7F here with a decent rain snow mix. Took a drive up to 1000ft in the coast range. Really solid precip rates the past few hours. Could have been a real nice snowstorm if we were 2-3F cooler. There was some snow in inland parts of the island, otherwise the temperatures are just a tad too warm.
